Applications received after the earliest Scheduled Start Time will be eligible for points scored from the next Scheduled Start Time after that Application has been received. Points will not be backdated under any circumstances.

There is no charge for making an Application or for participating in the Competition. Neither ICC nor CTV shall be responsible for Applications lost in transmission or received late due to high on-line traffic levels.

4. Team Names

CTV and ICC reserve the right to refuse to accept any team names or Mini League names that have been duplicated or are felt, in CTV and/or ICC's sole discretion, to be inappropriate or offensive. Unsuitable names shall be deleted or amended and the team or Mini League shall appear under the Manager's name. Team names that include website addresses shall also be deleted or amended.

5. Player Selection List

The players included in the selection list and their values have been determined arbitrarily. Player values remain constant throughout the Competition. CTV and ICC shall not enter into any correspondence relating to details of the selection list, nor will any player not on the selection list be accepted for inclusion into a Manager's team. New players may be introduced into the competition by CTV and ICC as and when appropriate during the Competition. Any such players will be listed on the Website.

6. Player Selection

For the Competition, a Manager's team shall consist of eleven (11) players chosen from the selection list. Players shall be valued and the combined value of these eleven (11) players must not exceed one hundred (100). Each team shall include either:

5 batsmen 1 wicket-keeper 1 all-rounder 4 bowlers
Or
4 batsmen 2 all-rounders 1 wicket-keeper 4 bowlers

A player can only be selected once at any one time - player duplication is not permitted. There is no restriction on the number of players chosen from the same team.

Managers of valid team selections that give an email address will receive team confirmation by electronic mail but should be aware that some ISP's and central servers have 'firewalls' or other blocking software, which do not allow distribution of game related communications. Entries will not be confirmed by post.

7. Scoring Points

Details of the points scoring system for the Competition will be detailed on the 'Scoring' page of the Website.

8. Transfers

Managers may alter their teams within the Competition by effecting transfers and Batting Captain and Bowling Captain changes, which changes can only be effected via the Website. The number of transfers available to a Manager is detailed on the 'How To Play' page of the Website. Transfers beyond the maximum number allowed will be rejected.

Transfers may be submitted at any time as described on the 'How To Play' page of the Website.

Players must be transferred before the earliest Scheduled Start Time on any day in order to score points on that day. Players transferred after the Scheduled Start Time on any day will score points as from the following day. With all transfers, Managers must ensure that their teams continue to meet the Player Selection Criteria set out in paragraph 6 above. Once submitted, transfer requests cannot be altered.

All online transfer requests are free.

Transfer requests shall be acknowledged via on-screen confirmation. CTV and ICC shall not be responsible for transfer applications lost in transmission or received late due to high on-line traffic levels.

9. Mini Leagues

Entry into the Competition shall give Managers the opportunity to form their own Mini League at no extra charge. In order to feature in the 'Top Mini Leagues' leaderboard, a minimum of five (5) Managers (there is no maximum) must have entered that Mini League, one (1) of whom must be nominated as the chairman ("Chairman").

A Manager may not enter the same team in more than three (3) Mini Leagues. Once a Manager has entered a team in a Mini League it is not possible for that entry to be moved into another Mini League.

Mini Leagues can be entered via the facility on the Website. This facility allows Managers to register their team to the Mini League individually. A Chairman must first register the Mini League and his/her own team online. This will generate a Mini League password, which, along with the Mini League name, must be given (in exactly the form it appears) to all potential participants of that Mini League. The Chairman will be the recipient of all correspondence relating to their Mini League.

10. Prizes

Prizes may be awarded for the Competition. Details of the prizes will be described on the 'Prizes' page of the Website.

The prizes as described are available on the date of publication. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of CTV and ICC. In such circumstances CTV and ICC may in their absolute discretion vary or amend the Competition or the prizes and participants agree that no liability shall attach itself to CTV and ICC as a result thereof.

In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the Manager whose team has scored the most runs. If the result is still a tie, preference will be given to the Manager whose team has taken the most wickets.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable and there is no cash alternative available to any prize for any prize winner. ICC reserves the right to substitute a prize of greater or equal value, in particular if any prize cannot be awarded as described due to lack of availability, at its sole discretion.

ICC's decision in relation to all matters in respect of prizes shall be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into whatsoever. Winners will be notified by email or in writing. Prize winners may be requested to co-operate in publicity activities arranged by ICC, CTV or their agents or representatives.

CTV and ICC each reserve the right to use any Manager's name, any Manager's team name, composition of the team, team score etc. for any form of publicity or advertisement in their sole discretion and without any liability for any payment to the Manager.

Winners' names may be published on the Website after the completion of the Competition.

11. Rules

CTV and ICC reserve the right to refuse to accept any Application which in CTV and ICC's opinion does not comply with these Terms or which contravenes the spirit of the Competition. CTV and ICC further have absolute discretion to disqualify any Application, or vary, amend, supplement or waive the Terms (in whole or in part) at any time and participants agree that no liability shall attach itself to CTV and ICC as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant, Manager or Chairman. It is a condition of entry that these Terms are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these Terms. CTV and ICC may from time to time publish information relating to taking part in the Competition and this information shall be deemed to form part of these Terms.
